A laminated flexible graphite material consisting of two ®SIGRAFLEX N flexible graphite sheets bonded to a fully annealed 316 stainless steel 0.002” core using a proprietary adhesive which comprises less than 1% of the total laminated weight. ®SIGRAFLEX N is a homogenous flexible graphite material manufactured from purified natural graphite flake that has been expanded under heat and compressed into continuous sheeting containing no fillers or binders. Special requirements are available upon request. This special nuclear certifiable grade has been approved for critical nuclear applications including U.S. Navy Mil-Spec. MIL-P-24503A (SH), General Electric specs D50YP12 and NEDC-31735P.
