Braided from 100% PTFE filament, PTFE Hard Filament Packing is then thoroughly impregnated with a PTFE suspensoidal blocking agent. With no sacrificial lubricants to wear out, PTFE Hard Filament Packing is long lasting, with an extremely low coefficient of friction and excellent heat dispersion. Ideally suited for chemical process applications where extreme chemical resistance is required. This packing is equivalent to: Garlock 5888.
