Description   Braided from high purity graphite yarns, Carbon Fiber Packing is designed to be virtually leak free. Under gland pressure, Carbon Fiber Packing forms a homogenous mass, resulting in maximum sealability, and reducing flush water usage. Carbon Fiber Packing is also a low friction, self lubricating packing,with extremely low friction, and excellent heat dissipation. Typically used for high temperature pump or valve applications. Equivalent to Garlock 98, Crane 1650CF and Sepco ML-4460. Equalseal Plain Flexible Graphite is one of the sealing industry’s top performers. It is non-inserted which is best for small gaskets where handling will not be a concern. No makes it the easiest version to fabricate also.
